director’s statement
What attracted me to software engineering was the desire to work with talented people – outside of government and large corporations – to build systems that solve important problems.
With this film, I hope to evoke compassion for characters with this sort of idealism who ultimately must come to terms with Silicon Valley’s demand for exponential growth and monopoly.
By confronting overwhelming and sometimes terrifying realities with moments of tenderness and hope – and a lot of humor – I want to make this story a fun ride, hopefully the type of movie you want to watch over and over.
