The Filmmaker’s Eye by Gustavo Mercado was on the syllabus for a cinematography course I took via Sundance Collab, and I finally finished it.
There are some very good notes in here about lenses, lighting, and composition, but I found the book got a little repetitive by about a quarter of the way through.
