Keefe // Empire of Pain: The Secret History of the Sackler Dynasty

I finally finished reading Patrick Radden Keefe’s Empire of Pain: The Secret History of the Sackler Dynasty.

I have read quite a lot about the Purdue / the Sackler family before –

• Dreamland
• The Least of Us
• Dopesick
• All the Beauty and the Bloodshed
• etc etc etc

So when Nam highly rxed this book to me, I was a bit skeptical, but she kept pushing it and I’m glad I read it.

Much more historical than most of the other reading I have done on this topic.
