I’m not sure how Dear Life – by Alice Munro – got into my library queue. Maybe, as often happens, I heard someone talking about something banal making them happy and I thought of the title of her other collection Too Much Happiness and I thought I should read some more Alice Munro.
What struck my about this set of stories is how deftly Munro moves between characters and points of view so economically.
