Hawke // A Bright Ray of Darkness

A friend recommended Ethan Hawke’s novel A Bright Ray of Darkness, and I don’t know why I should be surprised how good this was, bu I was.

It’s a great, short read about a tormented film actor performing in his first play on Broadway (Shakespeare’s Henry IV).

It’s full of pain and philosophy and family drama and humor – I highly recommend it.
